We're looking for our first Developer Advocate to help bring Greptile to the broader developer community. You’ll be the connection point between our product and the outside world—especially open source contributors, curious engineers, and early adopters.
This is a zero-to-one role. You’ll experiment with different channels, learn what resonates, and help define how Greptile builds developer trust at scale.
Responsibilities
-
Drive adoption in open source.
Identify high-signal repos and contributors who’d benefit from automated code review. Help them adopt Greptile, answer questions, and collect feedback.
-
Evangelize Greptile’s features.
Share what we’re building—and why it matters—on Twitter, Hacker News, and developer forums. Help shape the public conversation around AI-assisted code review.
-
Create developer-facing content.
Write deep dives, product walkthroughs, and short-form demos. Your work should help engineers understand what Greptile can do and why it’s different.
-
Keep our documentation accurate and useful.
Make sure new users can get started without friction. Improve clarity, coverage, and structure where needed.
You might be a fit if
- You’ve worked on or contributed to open source projects.
- You have strong opinions on what makes developer tools great—and you’re good at explaining why.
- You’ve written technical content or made videos that developers found helpful.
- You understand Twitter, HN, and GitHub—not just as platforms, but as cultures.
- You’re excited about doing unscalable things to help the first 100 people have a great experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building in public and wants to shape how a new category-defining tool is adopted. You’ll work directly with the founders and engineering team, and you’ll play a key role in shaping how the world sees and uses Greptile.
